Mr. Richard Wainwright

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many dwellings were the subject of compulsory purchase orders during 1975 and 1976, respectively.

The only figures available relate to dwellings included in compulsory purchase orders made under Part III of the Housing Act 1957—for slum clearance—and in unfitness orders related to compulsory purchase orders made under Section 112(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971. Following is the information:
