Bryanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in view of the fact that Humberside Area Health Authority has the lowest number of dentists per 10,000 population in the country with the exception of Oldham Area Health Authority, he will make a statement on his policvy for increasing the number.
§ Mr. MoyleThe Humberside Area Health Authority which, according to the latest available information, has one of the fourth lowest number of general dental service dentists to 10,000 population in English area health authorities, is one of four areas which will participate in an experimental scheme intended to test a possible means of attracting dentists to areas where general dental services are inadequate. The AHA has already placed an advertisement for such a post in Scunthorpe.
