CunninghamMy Department is in close contact with all fuel industries, including the electricity industry, and has sought their voluntary cooperation to include an energy conservation message in their advertising wherever possible. To the extent that the recent advertisements by the Electricity Council feature a reference to home insulation,104W they reflect one of the main messages of our "Save It" campaign.

CunninghamThe appropriate rôle for the Government in relation to information and advice on energy conservation is defined in paragraphs 3(b) and 27 of the White Paper "Energy Conservation" (Cmnd. 6575). Funding for the "Save It" campaign for the period after March 1977 has not yet been determined.
