HC Deb 16 December 1977 vol 941 cc448-9W
Mrs. Wise

asked the Secretary of State for Employment what means are open to people awarded compensation by an industrial tribunal to enforce payment of the award and what advice is given to the worker by the tribunal on this point.

Mr. Harold Walker

In England and Wales industrial tribunal awards are enforceable through the county court. Information on this is given in the leaflet on industrial tribunals procedure and in the notes on tribunal decisions. I am sending a copy of these documents to my hon. Friend.
