HC Deb 16 December 1977 vol 941 c576W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will take steps to establish a Welsh medical practices committee along the same lines as a similar body which already exists in Scotland.

Mr. Barry Jones

The present statutory arrangements command the support of the medical profession. I see no reason for change.

Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales what is the average list size for single handed medical practitioners in Gwynedd, Powys and Dyfed, respectively.

Mr. Barry Jones

1,733, 2,472 and 2,158 at 1st October 1976, the latest date for which information is available.
