The number of industrial development certificates issued for schemes of 15,000 sq. ft. and above in Wales was as follows:
1967 81 1968 119 1969 131 1970 103 1971 56 1972 46 1973 40 1974 25 1975 9 1976 9 1977 (Jan-Oct) 5 NOTE:
1. Since July 1972, IDCs have not been re quired in special development areas and development areas, which cover most of Wales.
2. IDC exemption limits were altered in December 1970 and July 1972.
