HC Deb 14 December 1977 vol 941 cc207-8W
Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Lord President of the Council (1) when he expects to implement fully the Boyle Committee Report on Members of Parliament's salaries; and to what extent the proposed increases would have to be increased to restore the amounts to their recommended figures after accounting for inflation;

(2) whether he will give, for the longest and most convenient stated period of time, the dates of the various reports on conditions of employment and salaries of Members of Parliament and a summary Lord Chancellor nor I are minded to recommend any changes in them.
