§ Mr. John Ellisasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make representations to Humberside County Council on the necessity for its making plans and co-ordinating with his Department so that it will be in a position to construct the spur road to Immingham at the same time as the next section of the M180 onward from Barnetby, thus bringing relief from heavy traffic to all the villages on the present route.
§ Mr. HoramThe spur from the proposed Brocklesby interchange to the A160 east of Ulceby Skitter will be a trunk road and will be built by the Department at the same time as the main trunk road scheme. There will also be a link from the proposed Stallingborough interchange to the Immingham area. This will be the responsibility of Humberside County Council, which is well aware of the need for co-ordination with the trunk road scheme.
