§ Mrs. Dunwoodyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what arrangements there are in the Cheshire area for the provision of beds for the young chronic sick.
§ Mr. MoyleThere are at present 56 beds for these patients in the Mersey Region, of which 30 are in Princes Park Hospital, Liverpool, and 26 in a new unit for the younger disabled at Fazakerley Hospital. These provide a service for the region as a whole, including Cheshire. A second unit for the younger disabled, with 26 beds is due to be completed next year at Clatter-bridge Hospital.
