§ Mrs. Jegerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what discussions he has had with the Governments of Turkey and Greece about the present position in Cyprus.
§ Mr. JuddMy right hon. Friend met Mr Bitsios, the then Greek Foreign Minister, in New York on 27th September, and the new Greek Foreign Minister in Brussels on 8th December. My right hon. Friend met the Turkish Foreign Minister in London on 14th October and again in Brussels on 8th December. I also had discussions with Mr. Caglayangil on 13th September in Ankara. At all these meetings my right hon. Friend and I expresesd the British Government's concern at the lack of progress towards a Cyprus settlement and discussed means of promoting progress.
