The National Consumer Council's Report "Consumers and the Nationalised Industries" recommended that the terms of reference of the Central Transport Consultative Committee should be extended. The Government will be announcing their conclusions on this and other aspects of this report in a White Paper on the nationalised industries, which will be published as soon as possible.
