Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what discussions he has had with the Scottish Development Agency about an oil-financed development fund.

There have been no discussions on this subject with the Scottish Development Agency.

Mr. Sillars

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if it is his intention to publish a Green Paper on the use the Scottish economy could make of a share of North Sea oil revenues.

Mr. Gregor MacKenzie

No. That Government have already indicated that they intend to publish a discussion paper which will cover the United Kingdom as a whole.
