MorrisThe basic weekly hours of attendance of the majority of non-industrial civil servants are 41 hours in London and 42 hours elsewhere, inclusive of one hour's paid meal break on every full working day. Most industrial civil servants have a basic working week of 40 hours, exclusive of unpaid meal breaks, wherever they are employed.
