§ Mr. Adleyasked the Prime Minister what new legislative proposals for an incomes policy he feels obliged to introduce in the light on the ruling by Mr. Justice Kilner concerning the preeminence of legislation on the statute book over Government pay policy not statutorily enforceable; and if he will make a statement in the light of the effect of this judgment on the ability of employers to uphold the Government's incomes policy.
