550Weducation authorities in England and Wales. These are:
- (i) Awards made under Section 1(4) of the Education Act 1962 which must be made at the same rates as mandatory awards.
- (ii) Full-value awards made under Section 2 of the Education Act 1962 which are intended by the authority to meet the full cost of fees and maintenance, subject to deductions in respect of the parents', spouse's or student's income.
- (iii) Lesser value awards made under Section 2 of the Education Act 1962 for which the maximum rate of award payable is below the full cost to the student of fees and maintenance.
