HC Deb 01 December 1977 vol 940 c399W
Mr. Wigley

asked the Secretary of State for Wales if his permission has been sought by the Welsh National Water Development Authority to locate some of its multifunctional offices, which will administer areas of Wales, at centres in England.

Mr. Alec Jones

Two of the Authority's proposed multifunctional divisions straddle the border. It is intended that the headquarters of the Dee and Clwyd Division will be at Mold and of the Wye Division at Hereford. The location of these offices is a matter of day-to-day management which does not need our permission.
