§ Mr. James Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for Trade whether he is yet in a position to report on the work of the group representative of the inshore fishing industry which was set up to review the operation of the Fishing Vessel Safety Rules.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisThe Fishing Industry Safety Group has recently submitted an interim report, and I have arranged for copies to be placed in the Library. The group, which remains in being, has done some valuable work, and I would particularly endorse its recommendation that fishing vessels should now come forward for survey as required by the rules.
