HC Deb 29 April 1977 vol 930 cc472-3W
Mr. Shersby

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many vacancies at present exist for skilled men to work in the British motorcycle industry; and if the rates for British workers are comparable with those paid for similar work in other sections of British industry in the Midlands.

Mr. Golding

It is regretted that information is not available in the form requested. Vacancy statistics are analysed separately by occupation and by industry but analyses combining both characteristics are not undertaken. There are no nationally negotiated minimum wage rates covering workers in the motor cycle industry.
