Film Industry (Interim Action Committee) (Hansard, 29 April 1977)

§ Mr. Molloy
asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will announce the names of the members of the Interim Action Committee on the Film Industry.

§ Mr. Dell
The Interim Action Committee which is to be chaired by my right hon. Friend the Member for Huyton (Sir H. Wilson) and which will follow up progress made by the Terry Report on the Future of the British Film Industry will have the following members:

Michael Deeley

Lord Delfont

Lady Falkender

Lord Lloyd of Hampstead QC

Appointments are for an indefinite period and members will be unpaid.

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) what was the number and value of British motor cycles exported to the Federal Republic of Germany during the first quarter of 1977 and the comparable figures for the first quarter of 1976;
(2) what was the number and value of motor cycles imported from the Federal Republic of Germany during the first quarter of 1977 and the comparable figures for the first quarter of 1976.

§ Mr. Hugh Jenkins
asked the Secretary of State for Trade why it has taken him a year to appoint members of the Interim Action Committee on the Film Industry; and what is still holding up the announcement.
