§ Mr. Robert Cookeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he expects the quarter chimes of the Great Clock to be sounding again.
§ Mr. MarksRepairs to the mechanism are now virtually complete, and it is planned to restart chiming at noon on Wednesday 4th May. A test ringing will be carried out beforehand.
