§ Mr. CarterThe Northern Ireland Department of the Environment hopes to give public notice in June of its intention to acquire the land for the road. Considerable rehousing of tenants will be required, and it is unlikely that the contract for the road works could be placed before 1979. The planning of a contract would also be subject to financial resources being available. A road scheme of this nature usually takes about two years to complete.
