§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will propose that the nongovernmental organisations should participate in the present meetings of the Preparatory Commission for the Special Session of the UN General Assembly devoted to disarmament to be held next year and if he will publish reports of the preparatory meetings as a White Paper in accordance with the previous practice.
§ Mr. LuardAt its first meeting the Preparatory Committee for the Special Session accepted a suggestion by its Chairman that the Bureau of the Committee should make recommendations for non-governmental organisations' participation both in its own meetings and those of the Special Session. These recommendations will be considered when the second meeting of the Preparatory Committee opens on 9th May. The main developments in the Preparatory Committee will be incorporated in a White Paper after the Special Session. Mean while, records of the Preparatory

Lady the Leader of the Opposition, Official Report, column 1104, that some countries had done worse than Great Britain in combating inflation, he will list those countries whose inflation has exceeded that of the United Kingdom in the period from 8th March 1974 to the latest date on which international figures are available.
