The library at No. 10 consists of books presented by members of successive Cabinets since 1931. In addition, reference and other books which are needed for the work of the office are purchased out of public funds whenever necessary.
§ Sir T. Kitsonasked the Prime Minister what is the estimated cost for the alterations at No. 10 Downing Street in order to accommodate the Summit Conference in May of this year; and what alterations would have been necessary if the Summit Conference had been staged at Lancaster House.
