HC Deb 25 April 1977 vol 930 cc253-4W
Mr. Hyman

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what resources were allocated in each of the last three years to the National Health Service regions for ambulance services; and what attempts are made thereby to equalise the quality of the resources available to each region.

Mr. Moyle

My Department does not make specific allocations in respect of ambulance services. It is the responsibility of each regional health authority to determine what proportion of its global allocation should be made available to ambulance services having regard to local needs and circumstances.
