§ Mr. HoramDetermining liability for loss or damage from construction works can be a lengthy business, especially when any items are in dispute. I regret that examination of this case took longer than we would have liked. The Department has now instructed the district valuer to negotiate a settlement with Mr. Sordy's agents under Section 20 of the Compulsory Purchase Act 1976.
