§ 28. Mr. Warrenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement on the progress to date of the negotiations with the EEC to arrange a 50-mile exclusive fishing limit around the United Kingdom for British fishermen.
§ Mr. BishopThe slowness of progress in these negotiations is not satisfactory. It is now recognised within the Community that action is urgently needed and we are awaiting a new Commission initiative on the long-term fisheries regime.
