§ Mr. Michael Lathamasked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will bring up to date the table of Civil Service staff increases given in his reply to the hon. Member for Melton on 24th January; and if he will outline the legislative or policy reasons which caused a variation in manpower between 1st October 1976 and 1st January 1977 wherever applicable.
