§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Industry when he received the report of the Central Policy Review Staff into the future of the power plant manufacturing industry; and what has delayed Government action to implement the report's recommendations.
§ Mr. CryerThe CPRS report was received in November 1976. Ministers have since then held a series of consultations with interested parties to seek their views on the report and on its implementation. These are nearing completion and my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry expects to be in a position to make a statement shortly.
