§ Mr. William RodgersYes. The interchange was first assisted by specific grant under Section 56 of the Transport Act 1968. Subsequently the costs of construction became eligible expenditure for the non-specific transport supplementary grant on its introduction in April 1975. West Yorkshire County Council assumed financial responsibility for the project in 1974.
