§ Mr. CarterPlanning of a new vehicle and driving test Centre at Cookstown is at an advanced stage. The centre is estimated to cost £295,000 and will serve an area covering South Londonderry and East Tyrone.

§ Mr. CarterThe driving test centres at Dungannon and Magherafelt are at preesnt operated on a part-time basis. It is intended that, on completion of the 373W purpose-built full-time vehicle inspection and driving test centre being planned for Cookstown, the facilities at Dungannon and Magherafelt will be closed.
