§ Mr. MeacherThese categories of steel cover a large number of detailed headings in the overseas trade statistics. This factor, combined with the great number of countries involved, mean that the information could only be provided at disproportionate cost. Some indication of the level of trade of finished steel products can, however, be obtained from the published "Overseas Trade Statistics of the United Kingdom" available in the House of Commons Library.
