§ Miss Maynardasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will publish a list of all publications financed by his Department, but which did not bear the Foreign Office imprint, over the last two years, 1975–76, showing details in each case of by whom and to whom the publications were distributed.
§ Mr. LuardA considerable number of publications are financed or sponsored by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office but published under other imprints, including, for example, Central Office of Information publications and the BBC Monitoring Service. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office also produces without imprint a number of informal papers on international affairs for use either internally or with personal contacts. The details requested could not be provided except at disproportionate expense.
