§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy what benefits he expects for the United Kingdom from the proposed EEC guaranteed loans for the financing of nuclear power stations.
§ Mr. BennBoth nuclear power stations and industrial fuel cycle installations are eligible for loans under the Euratom scheme. I understand that applications for loans are being made by the Electricity Council and SSEB.
§ Mr. Rostasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he has now withdrawn his opposition to the proposed EEC guaranteed loans for the financing of nuclear power stations; and if he will make a statement.
