§ Mr. Viggersasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will publish in the Official Report details of the usual arrangements for the publication of an important Command Paper which were referred to in his reply to the hon. Member for Gosport on 24th March 1977.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesIt has been the custom for many years past for copies of Command Papers to be given in confidence to journalists of the Parliamentary Lobby in advance of publication in order that they may have time to present the matter fully and fairly to the public.
