§ Mrs. Chalkerasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether the two-sided advertisement for Virginia Slims 297W cigarettes, a copy of which has been supplied to him by the hon. Member for Wallasey, is in contravention of the current agreement with the tobacco industry on advertising.
§ Mr. MoyleI understand that representations have been made to the Advertising Standards Authority that the advertisement is in breach of several of the rules of the code, and my Department will be discussing the matter with the Authority.
