§ 37. Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will make a statement on the current scale of Japanese nuclear waste brought into the United Kingdom; and whether he is yet in a position to state whether he will allow this to continue.
§ Mr. BennI am informed that imports of irradiated nuclear fuel from Japan during 1976 under existing contracts are expected to total about 65 tonnes. On the question of future contracts, I have nothing to add to my statement of 12th March 1976.
