§ Mr. Churchillasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will list in the Official Report all the local authorities which currently have council houses available or where there is less than a six-month waiting list for any category of council accommodation;
(2) if he will list in the Official Report any local authority area where there is less than a six-month waiting list for council accommodation and where unemployment is currently below the national average;
(3) if he will list the number of families on the housing waiting list of each of the district councils in the Greater Manchester area.
§ Mr. ArmstrongThe Department does not collect information about waiting lists on a regular basis. Different councils have different practices about the compilation of their lists, about the; arrangements for periodical review of them and about the making of allocations.
