§ Mr. Rifkindasked the Secretary of State for Industry which matters his Department will be responsible for in England, but not in Scotland, after the implementation of the Government's present devolution proposals.
§ Mr. CryerMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Scotland will continue to administer selective financial assistance under Section 7 of the Industry Act 1972. Otherwise, my responsibilities in England will remain the same as those in Scotland except for the English equivalents of the responsibilities to be discharged by the Scottish Executive in relation to certain functions of the Scottish Development Agency.
