Friend's reply to him on 30th April—[Vol. 910, c.205–6.] The Wessex Regional Health Authority informs me that since then one operation which would fall into the psychosurgery category has been carried out in the region. Information on the number of patients in psychiatric hospitals in the region who have at some time undergone psychosurgery is not available.
