§ Mr. MarksMy Department is participating in two pilot projects for the mechanical sorting of household waste to permit recycling of as many of its components as practicable. One of the products it is hoped to obtain is a plastic-rich fuel. In addition, the Director of the National Anti-Waste Programme is in touch with the newly-formed Materials Recovery Committee established by the British Plastics Federation.
