§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is prepared to recommend additional steps to deal with the advance of vandalism in the United Kingdom; and whether he is satisfied that current law is adequate.
§ Mr. JohnA report entitled "Protection Against Vandalism" published last November by a Working Party of the Home Office Standing Committee on Crime Prevention recommended certain measures to prevent vandalism. We are always prepared to consider new measures as they are suggested. The relevant law was reviewed and codified in 1971 and we have no reason to think that it is inadequate.
