§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will issue a circular to local authorities advising them that listed buildings, where demolished or partially demolished by the local authority as a consequence of the posting of a dangerous structure notice, should be made good by the local authority whether or not it is the owner of the building and that where the local authority is not the owner, the cost of rebuilding should be subsequently recovered from the owner.
