§ Mr. McElhoneI understand that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Education and Science has written to the National Union of Students agreeing to the proposal for a meeting with officials of her Department. Scottish Office Ministers will be informed of the outcome of these discussions and will then consider what action may be necessary.
