§ Mr. StrangA number of generalised complaints have been made, but only two involved specific instances. Investigation of these two cases failed to substantiate the allegations made. Strict veterinary control is maintained over the trade and, while we are always ready to consider ways of improving the arrangements, I am satisfied that they are working effectively.
