§ Mr. BishopThe drought has temporarily impeded the recovery in the dairy industry which began in the last quarter of 1975 and extended into 1976. But the recent improvement in grazing conditions, together with the increase in the guaranteed price for milk announced on 5th October, should help ensure that the milk sector is in a position to resume expansion towards the levels envisaged in the Government's White Paper "Food From Our Own Resources".
