§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Trade what are the numbers of cars imported from Eastern Europe; what percentage this is of the total numbers imported from all sources from 1st January 1977 to the latest available date; and what were the numbers in 1975 and 1976.
§ Mr. Meacher20,144 cars were imported from Eastern Europe in the year 1975 and 12,498 in January-August, 1976. This last figure represents 3.6 per cent. of total imports.
