§ Mr. Warrenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he is considering altering the status of the A21 to that of a trunk road; and if he will give an assurance that, if the alteration is made, none of the East Sussex County Council's improvement programmes for the road will be delayed just because of a change in responsibility for their funding.
