§ Mr. OakesMy Department issued in July a discussion paper on the proposed establishment of a National Advisory Council for Adult and Continuing Education for formal comment by the local authority associations as representatives of the largest providers of adult education and, at that stage, for the information of other interested parties. We are now considering our next action in the light of the local authority associations' response.
