§ Rev. Ian Paisleyasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what action he proposes to take in the matter of the firemen's dispute in Northern Ireland, in view of public concern about the situation.
§ Mr. CarterDiscussions have taken place between the Fire Authority for Northern Ireland and representatives of the Fire Brigades Union on the issues involved in this dispute and I understand that further discussions are envisaged. I am keeping in close touch with the situation.
