§ Mr. Matesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many new United Kingdom passports have been issued by the High Commissions, in those countries of Africa which were once dependent on the United Kingdom, since conclusion of the independence treaties, regardless of the national origin of the father of the applicants.
